Reasonably priced, not accepted by all cats

These bites are quite expensive for what ingredients they contain. Nevertheless, I bought them because one of my cats turns out to have spondylosis. We are currently trying everything, Novacam, Hills J/D, and as a supplement Flexadin and Seraquin. After a few weeks, there seemed to be some improvement, but we dare not reduce any of the three because he occasionally has a relapse (or has made a wrong movement?) which suddenly causes him a lot of pain again, despite the painkiller Novacam. So, I can’t say whether this supplement is doing its job well since we are really using a mixed bag of various joint-improving goodies; in any case, a combination of everything ensures that Joep is no longer hiding away in the attic sleeping all day but is just downstairs, playful again, suddenly jumping on higher furniture, and very present and chatty. That’s what it’s all about!

Flexadin seems to be more aimed at dogs, who perhaps deal more with arthritis (or where it is discovered earlier, as cats are masters at hiding it). The kibble is really dog-sized, and we always break it into four small pieces; otherwise, it is really too big. Fortunately, the cat that has spondylosis loves all kinds of treats, so Flexadin goes down easily. My other two cats turn their noses up at it; it does smell a bit like dog food. So I don’t think all cats will like it. We are currently also testing the cheaper Seraquin, and those tablets are literally devoured by all three cats (which is not financially intended, as the other two don’t need it, but well haha).

    very good product, highly recommended

I bought this product because our dog was limping severely and could no longer walk well. He is a 9-year-old Leonberger. At first, I was skeptical, but I can say it really helped; he is no longer limping and now runs without any discomfort. So thumbs up for this product.

    Positive effects

Very good product that helps cats and dogs with arthritis issues or as prevention. Dogs take them without any problems, but some cats have difficulty taking it, so you may need to try another type of supplement for arthritis.
