Lacrisan Artificial Tears
Lacrisan is an eye care product for dogs and cats, developed to support the eyes in cases of insufficient tear production or increased risk of eye surface dryness. This may occur, for example, after general anaesthesia or in animals with reduced tear production. Lacrisan helps keep the eye moist, cleans effectively, and supports the prevention and removal of tear stains.
In addition, Lacrisan is suitable as an aid during eye examinations such as gonioscopy. Thanks to its versatile application, this product is a valuable addition to your pet’s daily eye care routine.
Applications
- For dry eyes caused by insufficient tear production
- During or after general anaesthesia
- For cleaning the eyes and removing sleep residue
- To prevent and remove tear stains
- During eye examinations (gonioscopy)
Usage
Apply Lacrisan directly to the eye using the dropper bottle. Ensure the dropper tip does not touch the eye or eyelashes to prevent contamination.
- For dry eyes: Apply 1 or more drops to the eye, repeat every hour if necessary.
- For cleaning/removing sleep residue: Apply 1 or more drops directly to the eye.
- To prevent tear stains: Apply 1 to 2 drops, 2 to 3 times per day.
- To remove tear stains: Apply a few drops to a cotton pad and gently clean the area around the eye.
Storage
- Use within 30 days after opening
- Store in a dark place at room temperature (15°C – 25°C)
- Keep out of reach and sight of children
