PUUR Probiotic
PUUR Probiotic is a powder with pre- and probiotics for dogs, cats and horses. PUUR Probiotic supports a good intestinal flora and provides extra resistance, for example in case of loose stools or a bloated stomach. It can also be used after a course of antibiotics and in stressful situations.
PUUR Probiotic contains different types of ‘good’ bacteria, namely Bifidobacterium lactis, Enterococcus faecium, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus paracasei, Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus salivarius and Lactococcus lactis. It also contains Fructo Oligo Saccharides (FOS), which serve as food for these ‘good’ bacteria. By stimulating the good bacteria, bad bacteria have less chance.
PUUR Probiotic dosage and administration
In the first week, administer your dog, cat or horse PUUR Probiotic twice a day, unless your vet prescribes otherwise. After the first week, the dose can be reduced to once a day. Do not exceed the prescribed dose.
- < 10 kg: 0.5 gram
- 10 – 25 kg: 1 gram
- 25 – 80 kg: 1.5 grams
- > 80 kg: 2.5 grams
Dosing is easy using the included measuring scoop. The scoop in PUUR Probiotic 50 grams contains approximately 0.5 grams. The scoop in PUUR Probiotic 150 grams contains approximately 2.5 grams.
Preferably dissolve the powder in lukewarm water and let it stand for fifteen minutes. Then stir and give in, preferably on an empty stomach. If it proves difficult to administer PUUR Probiotic twice a day, you can also choose to give it once a day or once every 2 days. Then give the maximum dose of one day. This way it can take a little longer before it is effective.
How long can PUUR Probiotic be used?
In acute problems, the treatment can be relatively short: a few days to 3 weeks. Continue with PUUR Probiotic for a few more days when improvement is seen. In case of chronic problems, PUUR Probiotic can be given permanently. Improvement can be expected in 1 to 3 weeks. When improving, gradually reduce the dose to the lowest possible dose.
Consult your veterinarian before using PUUR Probiotic during pregnancy and lactation. So far, there are no known side effects of PUUR Probiotic.

Works well with my dog
I have an English Bulldog who quickly suffers from stomach problems resulting in diarrhea. I once got a very good remedy from the veterinarian that helped him perfectly, but unfortunately, it is no longer available. I started searching the internet and came across Puur probiotic and decided to try it. This works wonderfully, and now I buy the larger packages. My dog gets 1 scoop mixed in with his evening meal every day, and this helps a lot. No more stomach complaints, diarrhea, or mucus. We are very happy with it. I keep buying 2 jars, and this lasts me just over 3 months.
Horse is finally diarrhea-free!
My freshly bought horse came with chronic diarrhea. I tried everything possible. From detox treatments, to powders, herbal mixes, expensive pellets here, special feed there… Even a Gastrogard therapy for a lot of money. Overall, it went on like this for almost 10 months without a stable improvement. Of course, one should first check and improve all feeding conditions (good hay, good pastures, exclusion of poisonous plants, elimination diet for any intolerances, stress reduction, etc.). But after that, it starts to get difficult. I had a gut flora analysis done and it revealed a severe dysbiosis. The consulting veterinarian then recommended PUUR Probiotic. And at first, I thought “Yeah, right. Such a tiny spoon will save the world, who believes that…” – Um, yes. It actually was like that. good stuff
I first tried a small jar, which worked well. Then I ordered a large jar, but the measuring scoop that comes with it is not handy, and I had already thrown away the small jar with the measuring scoop. I now have the measuring scoop from Dog Mobility Plus (which my dog also gets) that has a handy measuring scoop in it.
So the product works great; my dog now has good stool every time. I give it to him over his evening meal with a little bit of shredded cooked chicken breast and some cooking liquid (cooled, of course). His food is now almost always finished in the evening, while he is a bad eater, especially during the day.
Good for the intestines, super stuff.
With this product, my pet has really been helped; his intestines are working better, which makes him healthier and gives him more energy. Super!

This works really well for our dogs. The oldest dog always had loose stools, and since we started using this, it’s finally how it should be.
A good pure product
My dog had continuous bouts of loose stools… antibiotic treatment etc., it kept coming back each time. Now, 4 weeks in and it’s going very well! I do give a dosage twice a day for the first month on the advice of the homeopathic vet to address the gut flora properly, very happy with it!
