This low-energy diet contains reduced fat and energy levels, while still providing sufficient essential fatty acids and nutrients to maintain a healthy balance. The slowly digestible carbohydrates help stabilize blood glucose levels by minimizing fluctuations. The increased fiber content stimulates intestinal activity, promotes healthy peristalsis, and supports firm, well-formed stools. Additionally, the higher protein content helps reduce muscle loss during weight loss, helping to maintain lean body mass. Not suitable for puppies, pregnant, or lactating dogs.
