Description
Diarsanyl Plus is a complementary dietary feed in the form of a paste for dogs and cats with acute diarrhea. Diarsanyl Plus can also be used during the subsequent recovery period. It is recommended to consult a veterinarian before use. The product can be administered during a liquid diet; it does not affect the rations usually recommended for diarrhea.
Ingredients
Montmorillonite and FOS (fructo-oligosaccharides). Montmorillonite is a clay mineral with a high water-binding capacity. This makes the stool firmer and more voluminous, which stimulates a normal bowel movement pattern. Fructo-oligosaccharides are prebiotics: they provide food for the beneficial bacteria of the gut flora, promoting their growth and giving harmful bacteria less opportunity to thrive.

Diarsanyl Plus is available in 10 or 24 ml.
Dosage
- 2-7 kg: 1 ml twice daily, 3 days (10 ml).
- 7-18 kg: 2 ml twice daily, 3 days (24 ml).
- 18-30 kg: 4 ml twice daily, 3 days (24 ml).

Super Product
As our dog often has issues with diarrhea and has a sensitive stomach/intestine (which has been confirmed by a vet), we first received the product from the veterinarian. Since then, I have been ordering it as an emergency medication for acute diarrhea. It’s a great product and we are happy to always have it on hand. Our dog also takes it well without any issues. It should definitely not be missing from any home pharmacy.
