Trovet RID Renal & Oxalate Cat is a complete dietary food specifically developed for adult cats with chronic kidney insufficiency. This diet contains a reduced level of protein and phosphorus to help relieve the strain on the kidneys. The proteins used are of high biological value. Thanks to its elevated energy content, your cat can consume smaller portions while still meeting its daily energy needs — especially beneficial for cats with reduced appetite. Additionally, Renal & Oxalate helps lower the risk of calcium oxalate stone formation. The inclusion of potassium citrate raises urinary pH and reduces calcium excretion in the urine. Citrate also binds calcium in the urine, which helps further prevent crystal formation.
