Milbeguard Duo 2,5 mg/25 mg small dog and puppy

Milbeguard Duo 2,5 mg/25 mg deworming tablets for small dogs and puppies (weighing at least 0,5 kg) are suitable for the prevention of heartworm and for the treatment of mixed infections caused by tapeworms, hookworms, roundworms, whipworms, lungworms and heartworms. In addition, Milbeguard Duo is also effective against eyeworms (called Thelazia callipaeda).

Active substances and dosage

One 2,5 mg/25 mg Milbeguard Duo tablet for small dogs and puppies contains:
Milbemycin oxime 2,5 mg
Praziquantel 25 mg

Administration

Milbeguard Duo tablets should only be administered orally, at the same time as or after eating.

How often should dogs be wormed?

The ESCCAP (European Scientific Counsel Companion Animal Parasites) recommends deworming adult dogs an average of 4 times a year. Puppies should be wormed at 2, 4, 6 and 8 weeks of age, then every month until they are six months old.
