Place the removed tick in a piece of folded paper and crush with a hard object. Do not flush the tick down the drain/toilet as this will not kill it. Ticks are masters of survival, even under water. After removing the tick, disinfect the bitten area.

Administration:
Separate the hair around the tick. Grab the tick with the Bogaclean Tick-Off tick forceps as close to the skin as possible without squeezing. Remove the tick vertically in a slow and controlled way.
