Iso-Gel 100 grams

Iso-Gel is a natural food supplement that can be used to support the treatment of gastrointestinal problems in dogs, cats, puppies and kittens. Iso-Gel can be used for diarrhoea, constipation and other signs of an irritated gastrointestinal tract in your dog or cat. In addition, Iso-Gel is a great aid before and after the treatment of a perineal hernia. Iso-Gel consists of granules which you can easily mix with the feed.

Iso-Gel: first aid for diarrhea and constipation

Iso-Gel is not absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract, so that it is optimally effective there. Iso-Gel attracts and retains water, while turning into a gel. This will give your dog or cat relief from both diarrhea and constipation:

In case of diarrhea, excess water is bound in this way, so that the stool becomes firmer. In case of constipation, dry stools become smoother because of the smooth gel.

Iso-Gel gives the intestinal contents extra volume. This filling of the gastrointestinal tract stimulates the intestines to adopt a normal movement pattern. No longer too fast as is often the case with diarrhea, and no longer too slowly as with constipation.

The dietary fibers in Ispaghula provide nutrients for the good intestinal bacteria, which benefits normal intestinal function. When the fibers are broken down by the intestinal flora, the water-binding capacity of Iso-Gel increases even further.

These properties make Iso-Gel a valuable addition to the first aid kit for your pet(s).

Iso-Gel is a natural product

Iso-Gel consists for 90% of Ispaghula. Ispaghula is made from the seed husks of the Plantago Ovata, a plant that is mainly found in India and Iran. It is a natural product, so appearance and color may differ slightly. One package contains 100 grams of granules.

Dosage

The dosage of Iso-Gel is indicative and can be adjusted to the needs of your pet.

Dog: 2 – 5 teaspoons of approx. 3 ml, 1 to 2 times a day through the food.
Cat: 2 teaspoons of approx. 3 ml, 1 to 2 times a day through the food.

INDICATIONS

Iso-Gel supports the treatment of acute intestinal absorptive disorders in dogs and cats, such as acute diarrhoea. Due to the regulation of the intestinal function, Iso-Gel can also be used in case of constipation as a result of, for example, hairballs, after anal gland removal or perineal hernia.

PRODUCT FEATURES

Iso-Gel is not absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. Therefore, it is effective where it is needed. Ispaghula granules dissolve in water in the body, forming a gel that binds water in the intestines. Due to the breakdown of Iso-Gel in the large intestine by the intestinal flora, the water-retaining capacity increases even further. Iso-Gel increases the mass and changes the consistency of the stool.
Iso-Gel regulates the intestinal transit time. The increase in intestinal contents improves muscle tone and peristalsis of the intestinal wall. In this way, Iso-Gel can not only shorten long passage times in animals with constipation, but can also extend the very short passage times in animals with diarrhoea.

DO NOT USE IN

Do not use in animals with abdominal pain, vomiting or intestinal obstruction.
