Sporimune 50 mg/ml is used to treat chronic cases of atopic dermatitis in dogs and as symptomatic treatment of chronic allergic dermatitis in cats. The active substance in Sporimune is 50 mg ciclosporin per ml.
Administration:
For dogs, this veterinary medicinal product must be administered at least 2 hours before or after feeding. The product is administered directly into the mouth on the back of the dog's tongue using the dosing syringe provided in the pack, in one administration.
For cats this veterinary medicine can be administered by the feed or directly in the mouth.
Dosage:
For dogs, the average recommended dose of ciclosporin is 5 mg / kg body weight (0.25 ml oral solution per 2.5 kg body weight).
For cats, the recommended dose of ciclosporin is 7 mg / kg body weight (0.14 ml oral solution per kg).
