Cardisure tasty 10 mg tablets for dogs to treat congestive heart failure in dogs caused by heart valve insufficiency or dilated cardiomyopathy (heart muscle disease).
Administration:
Each dose should be given approximately one hour before a meal.
Dosage:
Oral administration of the tablets in a daily dose of 0.2 mg to 0.6 mg pimobendan/kg body weight. The daily dose is preferably 0.5 mg pimobendan per kg body weight. The daily dose should be divided into two administrations of 0.25 mg per kg: half a dose in the morning and half a dose approximately 12 hours later. The maintenance dose should be determined individually by the treated veterinarian and in accordance with the severity of the condition. The recommended dose should not be exceeded.
