Effitix spot-on dog XL 40-60kg 4 pipettes

Effitix spot-on for dogs contains a combination of the well-known active ingredients Permethrin and Fipronil. Both ingredients have a proven effectiveness and the combination of these ingredients kills ticks and fleas quickly and repels sand flies and mosquitoes . The repelling effect of Effitix reduces the risk of transmission of diseases such as Leishmaniosis, Ehrlichiosis, Babesiosis, heartworm disease (Dirofilariosis) and Lyme disease (anti-nourishing effect). The Effitix comes in a handy Drop-Stop  pipette which makes sure that the product doesn’t drip and that the content only leaves the pipette with pressure on the reservoir. The content of the pipette should be divided over 2-4 places between the shoulder and the tail basis. Effitix works for 4 weeks against fleas, ticks, sand flies and mosquitoes and is available in packages with 4 pipettes.

Use during pregnancy, lactation and in puppies

The use of Effitix in pregnant or lactating dogs has not been researched. Effitix should not be used in puppies less than 3 months old, dogs weighing less than 1.5 kg, diseased or recovering animals, cats, rabbits and hypersensitivity to one of its ingredients.

Adverse reactions

When a dog licks the application site, temporary excessive salivation can occur. Transient cutaneous reactions such as redness and itching (both local and general) can be  seen. In addition, vomiting or hyperactive behaviour can also occur.
