NexGard Combo for cats is a spot-on product and works against fleas, ticks and worms (tapeworm, roundworm, lungworm, bladderworm and hookworm).

For cats with, or at risk of, mixed infections with cestodes, nematodes and ectoparasites. The veterinary medicinal product is indicated only when all three groups are targeted simultaneously.

Ectoparasites

- Treatment of infestations with fleas (Ctenocephalides felis). One treatment kills fleas immediately and persistently for one month.
- The veterinary medicinal product can be used as part of a treatment strategy for the control of flea-induced allergic dermatitis (FAD).
- Treatment of infestations with ticks. One treatment kills ticks immediately and persistently for one month in Ixodes scapularis and for five weeks in Ixodes ricinus.
- Treatment of infestations with ear mites (Otodectes cynotis).

Gastrointestinal cestodes
- Treatment of tapeworm infections (Dipylidium caninum, Taenia taeniaeformis, Echinococcus multilocularis, Joyeuxiella pasqualei and Joyeuxiella fuhrmanni).  

 
Nematodes

Gastrointestinal nematodes

- Treatment of infections with gastrointestinal nematodes (L3, L4 larvae and adult stages of Toxocara cati, L4 larvae and adult stages of Ancylostoma tubaeforme and Ancylostoma ceylanicum, and adult stages of Toxascaris leonina and Ancylostoma braziliense).

Cardio-pulmonary nematodes

- Prevention of heartworm disease (Dirofilaria immitis) for one month.
- Treatment of feline lungworm infections (L4 larvae and adult Troglostrongylus brevior).  Vesical nematodes
- Treatment of infections with bladderworms (Capillaria plica).
