Prevendog anti-parasitic collar for dogs

Prevendog protects against important parasites:

• Sandflies

Prevendog works against sandflies for 5 months. Sandflies can transmit Leishmaniasis. The collar works preventively against the bites of sandflies.

• Mosquitoes

Prevendog repels mosquitoes for 6 months. Because of the insect repellent effect the mosquitoes no longer bite.

• Ticks

Prevendog has an acaricide effect against ticks for 6 months. Ticks can transmit and spread various diseases such as Lyme disease or babesiosis.  

Active substance
The collar releases deltamethrin to the coat and the layer of fat on the skin. In this way, the active ingredient spreads continuously over the dog's body for 6 months. The collar is almost odourless from 24 hours after the opening of the sachet.

Safe for your dog
You can follow these steps to use the collar:

• Remove the collar from its packaging and remove the comfort strip.
• Attach the collar around the dog's neck without pulling it tight.
• 2 fingers must fit between the collar and the dog's neck.
• Pass the end through the buckle and cut off the remaining strap at 5 cm from the buckle.

In the unlikely case that the dog gets stuck with the neck link, the own strength of the dog is sufficient to remove the neck link so that the dog can detach itself quickly. The neck link has a special triple anti-wurg closure. In combination with the elasticity this ensures that the neck link loosens if the dog remains stuck to it.

Contra-indications

• Do not use on puppies younger than 7 weeks.
• Do not use on cats.
• Do not use on dogs with skin lesions.
• Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
