The preventive effect against new infections is a result of the activity against adult fleas and the reduction of the egg production. The product is active for up to 4 weeks after applying a single dose of the product. Comfortis 180 mg is suitable for dogs ranging from 3.1 to 3.8 kg and cats from 2.9 to 3.6 kg. The tablets are available in packages containing 6 pipettes.
