Tranquigel is used in all situations where sedation is desired in dogs and horses, especially during research of restless or aggressive animals, transport, training and training. The active substance in Tranquigel is acepromazine (35 mg). The orange-yellow gel should only be administered orally. After oral administration, sedation usually occurs after 1 hour in dogs and lasts between 8 and 12 hours. In horses, sedation occurs after 15 to 20 minutes and lasts from 6 to 7 hours.
